I am a retired biologist (not sooo
retired) with quite a lot of outdated 35-mm film (at least 10 years old
but kept pretty cool) that I have no use for. Perhaps some of your
members still use actual film format
and might be interested in it -- free, of course.

Nikkor 500mm ED AF-I f4. The predecessor to the new 500mm f4. This lens is in mint condition and is definitely as sharp as the new one but without VR. Complete with polarizer and sturdy lockable case. A must lens for the serious bird photographer. Asking $4500.
Nikkor 80-400mm ED AF Zoom f4.5-5.6 VR. This is a great lens for wildlife photography and is in top condition. Perfect for whale trips. Asking $990.
Nikkor 10-24mm ED AF-S f3.5-4.5 DX wide angle zoom. Bought new 18 months ago but am now using a full frame camera. Hardly used. Asking $695.
