Volunteer Photographer for Canadian Blood Services

From Patricia Willms, Event Coordinator, Canadian Blood Services

Every year in the spring, we organize an event called Honouring Canada’s Lifeline.  These evenings are an opportunity for us to recognize donors and volunteers reaching a donation or service milestone, and to really thank them for their contributions to our work for Canadian hospital patients.

In order to make these evenings as special as possible for our honourees, we like to have photos taken to capture some of the special moments. I am wondering if you might have a member in the club who might be willing to do something like this for us on a volunteer basis for our Victoria event.

It would involve taking some candid shots throughout the evening, and then also when our donors/volunteers are presented with their certificates by our board member and guest speaker. These are then available digitally for donors and for our organization after the event.

  • Date: Wednesday, June 5
  • Time: the event itself will run from 7-8:30 pm or so, with registration beginning at 6:30 pm
  • Location: CFB Esquimalt, Wardroom (Upper Dining Hall)
  • Address: 1586 Esquimalt Road
